Navigating the podcast promotion world can be tricky. In this article, we reveal the best hashtags to promote a podcast, boost your visibility, and amplify your voice in the podcasting landscape.
1. #newpodcastalert
By using #NewPodcastAlert, you tap into a community actively seeking new podcasts. These “early adopters” are likely to rate, review, and share your show as well. Use this hashtag whenever you promote your upcoming or brand new podcast. Continue using it until you have about 10 episodes available.
2. #[insert type]podcast
Use this format every time you post for your type of podcast. So if you publish a comedy show, use #comedypodcast. If you host a history show, use #historypodcast. Don’t be afraid to use this format multiple times if your show fits into multiple categories.
