At the end of 2024, the team at Podfest designed a "Podfest Global Sponsorship" to join forces with brands that were as committed to helping equip independent podcasters grow as part of a community and serve listeners on a deeper level.
We opened limited spots and were highly selective in inviting brands as sponsors, selecting only one global sponsor last year, Adobe Podcast, which we introduced just before Podfest 2025. We've enjoyed a very successful partnership with Adobe Podcast so far!
Today, after considering several other potential global sponsors since then, we are excited and honored to introduce PodMatch, the world's leading podcast host/guest matching service (which also helps podcasters automatically get more listeners and monetize) as our second Podfest Global Sponsor! CONGRATULATIONS TO ANDREW AND SALISHA WEISS ON THEIR NEW BABY!

We've been waiting nine months to announce this and, finally, today is the day we get to ask you to help us welcome the newest member of the Podfam to the world: Ajax Anthony Weiss!
As many of you know, Salisha and Andrew Weiss met in March 2021 during our Podfest Global virtual event, our second Guinness World Record-breaking event.
One year later, Andrew proposed to Salisha (spoiler alert: she said yes). And on October 10, 2022, they got married in New York City.
And at 5:10 p.m. on September 26, 2025, Ajax was born! Mom and Ajax are both happy and healthy and already preparing for Ajax's first PodfestExpo this January!
If you already got your ticket to Podfest 2026, you'll get to congratulate Salisha and Andrew in person, but let's also give them some love over social media!
What an exciting day for the Podfam!

Remember when ranking on Google was all about keywords, backlinks, and hoping the algorithm smiled upon your blog post? Yeah, those days aren’t gone—but they’ve definitely been joined by a new player: AI-powered search.
With tools like Google’s SGE (Search Generative Experience), ChatGPT’s browsing feature, the numerous generative search tools people use every day, and AI assistants baked into your browser, phone, and even Slack, the way people find information is shifting fast. We’re moving from traditional “type and scroll” search to conversational queries, summary results, and AI-curated answers.
So, where does video come in?
In this new search landscape, video is your brand’s secret weapon. AI models love context-rich content—and when done right, video delivers on all fronts. It tells stories, answers questions, showcases expertise, and keeps people engaged longer than a block of text ever could. Read More

Attention is the real currency. Neil Patel argues that algorithms now reward interest signals like watch time, comments, likes, and shares, not follower counts. Fresh, useful ideas win, especially when you research rising questions across platforms.
Treat discovery as Search Everywhere Optimization, because people find you on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Amazon, app stores, and AI chat tools, not just Google. The takeaway for creators is simple: publish something genuinely new, structure it to retain attention, and you can break through even with a small audience. Watch Now
