YouTube has a lot to offer podcasters that are new to YouTube and YouTube creators who want to add podcasts to their programming.
YouTube is one of the most popular platforms for podcasts, with a vast global audience of over 2 billion active users. Podcasts on YouTube help creators expand their reach and build their community while providing monetization opportunities.
Video allows more intimacy with your audience, benefits accessibility through body language and lip reading, and allows you to get creative with visual storytelling elements. When we talk about the Creator Economy, we’re referring to the current economic system where individuals create their own future by making money selling services as independent contractors.
The Creator Economy isn’t new, but it has become more prominent over the years. As long as blogs and YouTube channels have been around, people have made money creating. But the industry hit a BIG bubble in 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic. Honestly, this makes sense. Everyone was stuck at home looking for cheap entertainment.
But as the stay-home orders became lifted, the creator-ruled economy seemed to hit a plateau. And, as of late, we’ve seen a bit of a dip. There appears to be a decline in funding aimed at creator-focused start-ups, and ad revenue for platforms like YouTube has gone down.
Despite all this, it’s still a great time to become a creator. Fewer podcasts update routinely. So, while there seems to be more competition, standing out is easier. Plus, there are a ton of options for creators to carve out their own piece of the figurative pie. Read More

Ausha, the French company that launched its US podcast hosting and marketing platform services in October, is now offering its own US podcast.
The podcast will be hosted by Sarah Donnelly, an American comedian and podcaster. Bi-monthly episodes will be released as a YouTube video in addition to being released in a traditional podcast audio format.
“Our goal is to create 10 minute bursts of joy, clarity, and inspiration for podcasters,” says Odile Beniflah, Head of US at Ausha. “We see it as our way of contributing to the podcast community– we know how to make marketing easy and enjoyable so why not share that with everyone?” Listen Here
